Northern high range district known for hiking and coffee

Wayanad District is, compared with Munnar and Thekkady, a less developed high range tourist destination. It is an execellent location for hiking and trekking, and the highest quality of Kerala coffee is grown in Wayanad. It is more difficult to explore Wayanad independently as the recommended attractions are geographically dispersed, but for active tourists it is well worth a visit.
